Every Arista home is pre-wired for the full system whether or not you ever upgrade. That means hardwired CAT6 to the bedrooms and great room, a low-voltage panel, camera drops front and back, surround-sound and speaker-zone runs, and a fiber path from the street. Retrofitting that into a finished house means fishing walls, patching, and repainting.
Wireless gear you can add anytime. Wiring in the walls? The best time is during the build.

Upgrade pricing is confirmed with your sales consultant during selections — it varies by plan and lot. Bronze, Silver, and Gold are each a one-time cost rolled into your build.
Counts are the total in the home at that tier. Placement is set with you during your selections walk — sensor and switch locations aren’t fixed.
The questions people actually ask
Will it actually work the day I move in?
Yes — it's installed, inspected, and tested before you get the keys.
The low-voltage work is permitted with the City of Las Cruces and inspected like any other trade. Your devices are paired, and the panel is running before your walkthrough, and we go through it with you at orientation — codes, app login, thermostat, cameras — so nothing is left as a project for your first weekend.
Can I upgrade later instead of paying for it now?
Yes. The house comes pre-wired, so if you decide to upgrade in one or five years, it is headache-free.

Is this something I'll actually use, or a novelty?
The parts people use every day are locks, cameras, garage, and thermostat.
That's why the standard package leads with those four and why each upgrade widens the same handful rather than adding new categories to learn. The features that get abandoned are the ones that need tinkering. If you never open the app again after month one, keypad entry, a doorbell you can answer, and a thermostat on a schedule still pay for themselves in this climate.
What does it cost monthly?

Which package do most people pick?
Silver — it's the point where the app becomes part of your day.
Standard covers the front door. Bronze adds the garage and your first camera. Silver covers front and back and puts enough switches and sensors in the house that you stop thinking of it as a security system and start using it as a house. Gold is for people who want whole-home WiFi and in-wall audio handled by us instead of on a weekend later.
Do I have to use your installer?
The standard package is installed by our local licensed low-voltage partner.
They pull the permit, do the pre-wire before drywall, and come back to set devices. That's how the system is warrantied and how we can promise it works at handover. If you want equipment beyond Gold — a full A/V system, more cameras, network gear — tell your sales consultant early so the pre-wire accounts for it.
